I would like to thank you for visiting my site and to take some time to introduce myself. I have been married to my husband Mark for 29 years and during that time we have made 7 corporate moves. Our last move brought us back to Champaign, Mark's home town.
Our son Will is in his third year at the University of Illinois. He is a member of the great Marching Illini so being a part of a University town is even more exciting. I really enjoy him being so close to home.
Of course, there is our beloved Bichon, Olivia who just celebrated her 13th birthday. She still loves the opportunity to chase a rabbit that might stray into her home territory!
I hold a BS in Education from Dakota State University and have taught in the elementary grades for over 8 years. Being a teacher came naturally and you might say I was "born to teach". Growing up in a home where my mom, siblings, cousins, aunts, uncles, and even great aunts have been educators.
